Under the direction of the Community Recreation Director, the Programs Coordinator develops, coordinates and delivers youth and adult programs. He/she manages employees and volunteers. The incumbent develops and maintains a network of professionals to ensure community support within the planning and delivery of programs as well as promotes programs through social marketing strategies. He/she authorizes and administers financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget.Qualifications: -Bachelor s degree in Recreation Administration, and/or a related field, OR-College diploma or certificate in Recreation Administration, and/or a related field AND several years experience in Recreation and/or a related field
